The Seed of Light Unity Temple is a spiritual and community-centered ministry devoted to healing, cultural reverence, and compassionate service. Rooted in ancestral wisdom and guided by a mission of care, we support Tucson families, as well as our nationwide online community, through direct community outreach, senior services, and programs that honor both the beginning of life and the later years of our elders.Alongside our outreach, the Temple offers a growing education division, where we hold regular online learning circles and spiritual study sessions via Zoom. Through guided teachings, meditation, sacred history, and community dialogue, we provide a space for individuals to deepen their spiritual practice, strengthen emotional wellness, and connect with others in a supportive learning environment.Together, our spiritual work and community programs reflect one truth: service is sacred, and when we care for those most in need, we honor the ancestors who walked before us and protect the generations yet to come.
At the Seed of Light Unity Temple, our ministry approaches service as a spiritual act — honoring the body, the spirit, the ancestors, and the natural world as one interconnected family. Alongside our community support programs, we host Spiritual Tea Ceremonies, where we gather to honor plant medicines, explore natural healing, and learn to live in harmony with Creation as the Most High intended. Through these gatherings, we study the spiritual science of nature, respect the wisdom of the earth, and uplift knowledge of self through Christ Consciousness — the inner awareness that every soul carries Divine light and sacred purpose.Our outreach reflects this holistic belief. We provide End of Life Companion Care for elders and individuals nearing transition, walking with families through grief, memory, and spiritual comfort. Our Women’s Ministry supports healing, empowerment, and emotional balance through sisterhood and shared wisdom. We also facilitate Art Therapy and Creative Healing Sessions, offering painting, journaling, and expressive arts as tools for mental, emotional, and spiritual restoration.Through education, compassion, and cultural care, our ministry stands as a bridge — supporting the community in everyday needs while nurturing the spirit through teachings that honor nature, ancestry, Divine law, and sacred identity. For women, this includes the covering of the head in public spaces as an act of spiritual protection, humility, and divine order. Livity is not a label, but a daily practice of alignment with God, nature, and ancestral wisdom.The Daughters of MelchizedekWithin the Temple exists a private and sacred priestess order known as The Daughters of Melchizedek. This order consists of women who have been spiritually ordained and initiated into a lineage of divine priesthood that predates modern religious institutions. These priestesses are consecrated to serve as spiritual anchors, wisdom keepers, and intercessors—walking in divine authority, balance, and service to God and humanity. Membership is by calling, preparation, and ordination, and is held with reverence, responsibility, and spiritual discipline.Ethiopia as a Holy LandWe honor Ethiopia as a sacred land and spiritual axis of the world, recognizing its ancient spiritual heritage and divine significance. We align ourselves with Ethiopian holy days and spiritual observances, acknowledging Ethiopia’s role as a cradle of sacred knowledge, priesthood, and uninterrupted spiritual lineage.Cosmic Ancestry and Divine OnenessWe affirm our identity as Cosmic Beings—spiritual entities having a human experience. We honor not only our earthly ancestors, but our cosmic ancestors, recognizing that our origins extend beyond time, space, and dimension. God dwells within us as Source Consciousness, and through this knowing, we walk in Oneness with all life, all worlds, and all expressions of the Divine.
